Aji-No-Moto is widely used in Peru to season dishes. Similar to salt and nothing like it, this umami seasoning is used in many Peruvian dishes!
So much to say about Aji-No-Moto, from the fact that its name means “the essence of flavor”, to how it just enhances dishes.
Monosodium glutamate and its umami flavor (not salty, not sweet, not sour, not bitter… just… tasty) was discovered in Japan in the early 1900s, and since then it’s been used in many of the world’s top cuisines to power up flavor and make craving-inducing food.

Have a little taste of Aji-No-Moto in your sauces, soups, meats, dressings, potatoes, eggs. Use it just like you would with salt and, being a strong condiment, make sure you don’t abuse it.
Chinese recipes like sweet and sour chicken, or Peruvian like ceviche will taste super authentic (and enticing) with Aji-No-Moto!
